The Legacy

Four generations in diamonds. One brand of our own.

Arno grew up in the Antwerp diamond trade. His family’s company, Direggio, has worked with diamonds and gold for four generations and still does today. Arno holds a diamond grading diploma and has worked with stones his whole career. Arter is where he branched off on his own, driven by a passion for jewellery: everything his family taught him, set with lab-grown diamonds and made by his family by hand in Antwerp.

Our Story

Arter started with a simple belief: everyone deserves their dream piece, and the freedom to wear it proudly. With mined diamonds, the top grades often come with a price that keeps them out of reach. Lab-grown diamonds change that, with the same colour, clarity and fire, at a price far more people can reach.

And once it’s yours, wear it. On a Wednesday, with jeans and a white shirt. To work, to dinner, to nowhere in particular. Fine jewellery isn’t meant to sit in a safe and come out once a year at Christmas.

How We Work

Every piece is made to order by hand in our Antwerp workshop. We choose each stone, set it, and check the finished piece before it leaves us. Want another carat size, a different shape, or a design of your own? Our Tailor Made service starts with a conversation and ends with a piece made only for you. Engraving is always free.

Our Materials

Our diamonds are lab-grown: D colour, VVS clarity, excellent cut.
They are physically and chemically the same as mined diamonds; only their origin is different. Every diamond over 0.50ct comes with its own
IGI certificate.
Every piece is made in 18kt gold, in yellow, rose or white, and arrives in our red Arter box and pouch, made to be kept.

What We Believe

Jewellery is personal, and buying it should feel personal too.
You can talk to a real person, often Arno himself, before you order, while your piece is being made, and long after it arrives.
Some pieces mark a milestone: an engagement, a birthday, a new chapter. Others are simply for every day. Both deserve the same care.
